He's almost back in full training at Cantley Park; Graeme Lee gives us his thoughts in his Captain's Log.

"Things are going very well in terms of my recovery. I'm back doing the warm-ups with the lads this week and then next week I am building it up. Hopefully next week I will be joining in a full session. I'm just looking to get things back to normal and get a reserve game under my belt."

"I'm very excited to be at the stage I am at with my recovery. That excitement will be heightened once I've played a full session and done a bit of contact in training. If there was a big light at the end of the tunnel; I can see it now. Like I say, at the moment, I am just doing the warm-up with the lads and then going off with the physio and doing a lot of running, which I need in terms of fitness. Thing is, I just can't wait to kick a ball!"

"It can get boring - just doing running - especially when you are in the gym all by yourself. All I seem to be doing is leg exercises and strengthening. It's a boring, hard, mental stage - but you need it to be where you want to be. I have got through the hard bit and now I'd like to think I am at the final stage. Now I can get back to fitness, get a reserve game under my belt and be part of the promotion push."

"People have hinted that they think I will be hard pushed to get back into the squad. For me, fitness is going to be the overwhelming factor and I wouldn't have gone through everything I have had to do in my recovery if I didn't think that I would be getting back into the squad. Belief has been important part of me getting to where I am, and - as a player - if you don't believe you have a chance of making an impact, you are in the wrong profession. I've been in situations before where I have been injured and come back stronger and fitter. I'm sure that this will be the case this time. I know it is going to be hard, because everybody is playing well - but whatever happens I will be pushing constantly."

"Kevin Horlock left us this week and has since signed for Scunthorpe. He's been fit for a long time and has been training and waiting but as time goes on he felt that he needed to go off and get games. I think that is right - he should be playing games. I'm good friends with Kevin and I know that he wasn't too pleased that he wasn't playing - as is any player when they aren't playing. I think I was more surprised that he went to Scunthorpe; but he's done well. He's happy now, but I still think that he was disappointed because he wanted to play for the club and pay them back for all the work they have done to get him fit. At the same time, the lads in midfield have done really well and it would have been difficult for anybody to break into those positions. I'll still be keeping in touch with Kev, because we only live two-minutes away and both families are close. I'm over there quite a bit playing computer games and things like that."

"You look around at the lads and our form over Christmas has put us in a terrific position. Over the season as well, we have played great teams and made them look poor. I just think that if we can make teams in this league look poor - there is no reason why we shouldn't be able to push out of this league and hold our own in the Championship. I think that is why we are quietly confident at the moment. The next games are going to test us and test whether we are good enough to do what we want to do. I'd like to think that if we can get results in the next three games then we can get be up there at the end of the season."
