Thousands of Rovers fans are unable to be at Roots Hall for the first leg of the Play-Off semi final against Southend United. However, the match is being broadcast live on Sky Sports, giving fans the opportunity of watching at home with the family, or visiting a local pub with friends.

THE PLACE TO BE for an electric atmosphere will be our very own town centre venue THE REDS BAR on Silver Street. Last Saturday the place was packed with ardent Rovers fans just listening to the commentary from Cheltenham.

With the additional benefit of being able to watch the match live the venue will be full of fans cheering and singing.

BBC Look North wil be broadcasting live from the Reds Bar, interviewing fans before the match in order to gauge the feelings and opinions of individuals, and recording their reactions to events from Roots Hall throughout and after the match. If you wish to air your views make sure you arrive very early indeed, in time for the live transmission just after 6pm.

This is the only town centre venue on a Friday night which will allow you to wear your Rovers shirt and show your support. It is recommended that you get there early to watch the match via one large screen and eight plasma screens.

Unfortunately, the Reds Bar will not be able to cater for children; as this is an evening event. However, the Reds Bar's sister establishment - The Wheatley Hotel - can cater for adults with children and will be screening the match live.

Come on you Reds!
