EVERYTHING TO PLAY FOR
Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll is looking forward to Friday's second leg Play-Off semi final against Southend United at the Keepmoat Stadium; believing that as long as his side go into the game with the discipline and organisation that shone at Roots Hall last Friday, the result should see the Rovers emerge victors.
"We've been ready, I think, for probably a few days now. At this time in the season, people just want to get it over and done with. With the week's break, it has helped with the few niggling injuries that we have got. It seems to have been a long time coming, but we are as ready as we'll ever be."
"There are still one or two of the players who are carrying slight niggles; a few bumps and bruises so we will just wait until the last minute - make sure that everybody is right - before we name the team."
"I thought that Southend were a good side and playing at home, we knew it was going to be a difficult place to be. All week, we were preparing to be organised and disciplined and that is as much as you can do, really. I felt that we were exactly that for the full 90 minutes and had a few chances that - on another day - might have gone in. I thought it was always going to be tight and it was exactly that. This leg is going to be the same."
"I don't think that we need to do a lot different; if we step off the gas in terms of our organisation and discipline, then I think that they are a good enough side to come away from home and get a result - so that is something that we have got to maintain. I don't think that being at home or away - the venues - have any bearing in the Play-Off games. The actual scores going into the games can sometimes dictate it; this is all square and there is everything to play for."
