Tension is mounting as Doncaster Rovers prepare for the League One Play-Off Final against Leeds United at Wembley on Sunday.

However, speaking ahead of the historic clash, Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll has been handed a massive boost ahead of the game that could end in Doncaster achieving promotion to The Championship.

"Everybody trained today," said Sean after training on Thursday.

"The niggles and the bumps and bruises that the players have had; everybody has seemed to pull through."

It's terrific news for the Rovers boss, who saw his side confidently beat Southend United 5-1 at the Keepmoat Stadium last Friday in order to reach the Play-Off Final at the home of English football.

"We haven't spent the week reflecting on the win against Southend on Friday; we have spent the week preparing for the game that we have in store on Sunday. It's a one off game and finals are finals; even with this being a Play-Off Final - it's still an occasion, and the side who handles the occasion best usually comes out victorious."

The Rovers and their Yorkshire neighbours have met twice this season, with the Rovers emerging winners at Elland Road and Leeds defeating Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium - both score-lines were 1-0, however Sean believes that the Final won't be the same again.

"I have a sneaking thing that it won't be and that there will be a few goals in it. It's a big pitch and I think that there are going to be a few tired legs in the last half hour. There will be quite a few chances and the way that this season has gone - the game will ebb and flow right to the very end."
