Contrary to media reports released today (Monday 9th June), Doncaster Rovers would like to clarify that only TWO players have been released by the Club.

Centre-back Graeme Lee and full-back Matthew Noble are the only players who have not been offered new deals by Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll.

All other players who were out of contract at the end of the 2007-08 season have been offered new deals and are currently in talks with Doncaster Rovers over the offers.

Media reports have suggested that striker Jason Price and defender Steve Roberts had been released by the Club; however Doncaster Rovers would like to reiterate that they have indeed been offered new deals.
