Scottish international defender Steven Pressley is currently training with Doncaster Rovers.

Pressley, who is currently without a club following his release from Scottish giants Celtic, trained with the Rovers on Friday morning - and is in line to feature against Scunthorpe United on Saturday.

34 years of age, Pressley has a wealth of experience behind him and is currently joint assistant manager of the Scottish national team. He is one of the few players who has played for both Glasgow clubs - Rangers and Celtic. Known by many as Elvis, Pressley has notched up 32 appearances for his country.

Before joining Celtic, Pressley made 271 appearances for Hearts - scoring a penalty in the 2006 Scottish Cup Final.

"I've been totally up-front with Steven and at 34, he probably wasn't somebody who was on our radar," admitted Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll.

"But when you talk to various people who have played with him and the people at Celtic, he got such a favourable opinion that people gave us?he wasn't doing anything and we gave him the option to come down here and train and he's put himself in the shop window - so to speak - against Scunthorpe. He's took that opportunity and he'll play tomorrow."
