WOODS BACK IN TRAINING
DoncasterRoversFC.co.uk paid our weekly visit to head physio John Dickens, in order to get the news on the injured Rovers players.
"Well, in terms of our longer term injuries, it's better news for Kevin Horlock. His shoulder is improving nicely and he is back in training today (Tuesday). It's a period now of more strengthening of the shoulder, keeping him in training and as soon as we think that he's fit enough - he'll be ready to start playing again. It's definitely a case of sooner rather than later for Kevin and it's looking good. In terms of how long away he is from playing, we aren't sure. He needs a decent period of training after being out for so long."
"Graeme Lee has recovered well from his surgery and is now into his rehabilitation period."
"Steve Roberts has unfortunately received a nasty tackle in the game against Luton on Saturday. He is no better than 50/50 for the Huddersfield match. It's not the worst news, as we were worried it was a fracture. We had him x-rayed on Monday and there was no fracture found."
"Gareth Roberts and Paul Heffernan both have groin strains and once again, I would rate them no better than 50/50 for Sunday's clash."
"Mark McCammon is making a slow recovery from his hamstring injury. We know that he hasn't suffered a nasty tear there, but he is still suffering with it at the moment. We are just trying to push on and get him back to full fitness."
"Matt Noble and Gordon Greer are both recovering from broken wrists. They are back in training, playing in light casts and are available for selection."
"Martin Woods is back in full training. He was back in training for four days last week but didn't feel he was ready for Saturday's game. Now he will hopefully train for this week and be available for selection on Sunday."
