A promising young player who emerged within the Rovers first team in the later stages of the 2006/2007 season, Craig Nelthorpe is a player who shows a lot of skill and ability that can only improve with more games.

A product of the Doncaster Rovers youth system, Nelthorpe is a left-winger who has the ability to run and beat players - also showing he is able to find space to create goal-scoring opportunities.

Craig made his first start for the Rovers first team in the 3-0 win over Brentford at the Keepmoat Stadium in the 2006/2007 season after impressing as a substitute. He scored his first goal the red and white shirt of Rovers in the final game of that season against Northampton Town.

After developing through the Rovers set-up, Craig committed his future to the club by signing an extension to his contract in the summer of 2007, with Rovers supporters hoping that Nelthorpe can continue to impress.
