Ness joined the club from Bristol Rovers in 2005 and had an immediate impact making the left back/left wingback role her own with a number of impressive performances.

Ness has a cultured left foot as well as a fantastic attitude to the game and has certainly increased the quality within the Belles squad.

Her performances were judged that good by her fellow players that she won The Players Player Of The Year Award for 2005/06 in her first season with the club.

She is an excellent left sided defender who attacks at every opportunity, providing great runs and crosses into the box.

Nessie represented English universities from 2004 to 2006.
