Pupils at Hill Top Primary School in Edlington were given a special treat on Monday 25th February - when the Doncaster Rovers players and management visited to school for a guided tour.

The players; as well as manager Sean O'Driscoll, assistant manager Richard O'Kelly and goalkeeping coach Lee Butler were taken around different areas of the school by representatives of the school council - getting involved with a whole host of schoolroom activities.

Outside of the classroom, the Rovers in the Community team ran different football groups in the playing fields - assisted by players Sean McDaid, Matt Noble, Ben Smith, Paul Heffernan and skipper Adam Lockwood; as well as Sean O'Driscoll and Richard O'Kelly.

Richard O'Kelly led the groups for pre-exercise stretches, before the pupils went for small matches amongst Ben Smith, Matt Noble and Sean McDaid. Thereafter, pupils were put through their paces by the Rovers manager, Paul Heffernan and Adam Lockwood - going through different football skills.

To top off the afternoon, everyone's favourite mascot Donny Dog went through the younger classes, meeting the pupils and signing autographs.
